Protecting the health of the general population by means of investigating, surveilling, reporting and preventing communicable diseases.
 

• Work with Hospitals, Providers, and laboratories in reporting communicable diseases
• Investigate cases of communicable diseases to find possible causes, and prevent outbreaks
• Provide support to schools and health care facilities to prevent spread of communicable diseases
• Work with Animal Control to prevent rabies due to exposure from animal bites.
